THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN Interviewed By Pennsylvania's THE WEEKENDER
July 22, 2010Members of THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN were interviewed by The Weekender, Northeastern Pennsylvania's arts and entertainment weekly newspaper, when they played the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania on July 15, 2010 as part of the Vans Warped Tour. THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's new album, "Option Paralysis", entered the official Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) chart at position No. 42.
The CD sold around 7,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 78 on The Billboard 200 chart. The is roughly in line with the opening tally of the band's previous album, "Ire Works", which landed at No. 142 on the Billboard chart after premiering with 6,900 units back in November 2007.
Released on March 23, "Option Paralysis", recorded in Orange County, California with longtime collaborator/producer Steve Evetts (THE USED, GLASSJAW, EVERY TIME I DIE),is the debut release for the band's brand new label Party Smasher Inc./Season Of Mist.
